Almonte (Mississippi Mills) is more than a one day visit. For its size, there’s a lot to see and do whether you’re a history buff, foodie, outdoor enthusiast, parent with kids in tow or shopper – there’s something for everyone!
Mill St. is the hub in Almonte. The life-sized Naismith statue is perfectly perched on the bend, nestled among the many unique shops and cafes.
On your way out to the Naismith Museum at the Mill of Kintail (check for opening hours) stop by the old Naismith house on Hwy 29.
